This is where you will find short-term trading signals on the .VIX. My analysis is proven/tested. No, of course it is nowhere near to being perfect, but the risk/reward ratio is extraordinarily tilted to the reward side. Using spreads, straddles, condors, etc. I have managed to average annual realized gains of almost 30 percent! Yes; that's annually! I am not in the securities business, nor do I sell my information. This is merely a hobby. The reason why I'm good at it (and quite frankly why it works) is because I am "emotionally removed" from Wall Street. I pay no attention to financial and/or political or economic chatter. I simply enter my trades based on my own form of discipinary indicators. I do not have a crystal ball and I laugh at those who keep trying to find or create one. I just smile every time I'm wrong...because for every time I'm wrong, I'm "eventually right 2 to 3 times" because of my "emotionless hedging". Warning: Nothing is as good as it sounds (even all this...about me and my strategy). The negative, with my strategy, is not only that you need the inherent ability to seperate yourself emotionally...but you also must "work" at your trading, on a daily basis. Yes; the ability to use limit orders helps cut down on the work time...but every time a given order triggers, you have to be there to ponder/consider your next limit order a.s.a.p. prior to the market's close for that day. So if you're not in a position to make your "hobby" your "work" (as I am), then in all honesty; don't even bother... Rather; if you're happy doing what you've been doing, then don't change a thing.
