Helmerich & Payne....not to be confused with Hell or Pain, nor Hewlett Packard or HPQ....they are forcasted to have a higher earnings reports as demonstrated from previous demonstation. Thereafter, they should grow to higher levels if they can repair their lack of cash on their books....the lack of cash is insignificant, and due to investments in below equity commercial properties. Those should/will rise once the economy improves. In my opinion, that is a wise choice. In fact so wise I would choose to even go as far as to work directly with this large corporation. Thinking ahead is difficult for many, however, that is the secret of staying in business with increase of success in mind constantly. There are currently 13 brokers following this stock so interest is installed. Oil will become a valuable resource as depetion of it's availability decreases & demand rises, along with price fluctuations. Commerical real estate is extremely depressed, at this time. In 5 years or so it should grow upward resulting growth in this stock. I am currently following the 4 to 5 year charts prior to the downward turn in 2008, thus comparing the next following year to that one. If there is a double dip, whatever that means, at this time, I still expect this stock to escalate in value. They offer a dividend, however the yield is not very good, but could possibly increase with time. TIMING AND WISE CHOICES IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY IN THIS YEAR OF 2010, AND EVEN EARLY 2011. It is never to late to begin investing. Yes, higher taxes will effect this company, however, there are also offsets for higher taxes which only increase overhead expenses, not to mention some taxes are tax deductible. Sorry this is so long but this is my thought.
