Solar stocks, particularly Chinese ones like CSIQ (despite its name :-), dropped heavily this week because of news about Germany's potential tariff cuts. If I were holding this stock in real life, I would have already been stopped out, but since I'm following a mechanical stock-picking model, I'll let it ride---it's still a Zacks Rank #1 stock as of today.

I held this stock long past when I would personally have stopped out of it, because my mechanical strategy is to hold a stock once picked as long as it's a Zacks Rank #1 stock. But with today's lowered forecast, I'm sure that CSiQ's Rank score will drop, so I'm going ahead and cutting it.
