. The global meltdown forced many govt's to overextend themselves into uncharted territory. Trials and tribulations in Dubai with delaying debt repayments, the UK debt is 100% of UK's GDP, the USA's debt is TRILLIONS and climbing, Spain and Greece on credit watch for possible downgrades ... probably won't happen ... But
Russia's Central Bank taking 30 tonnes of gold that Russia was contemplating selling into a declining market ... why? Looks like they see gold prices going higher.
Interesting tidbit: All the gold ever mined on the planet would fit into two olympic sized swimming pools ... soooo, what is the USA doing with all the extra (empty?) space at FT. Knox?
