To me it "looks like" DPTR is going to be one that will go into a loooong basing process of a few weeks before it gets news driven. Unless it sets up "properly" and I git my numba I doubt I am going to take a position in it. But I will play any ensuing rally...even ifn it's a daytrade for a quick 10 to 20%. I guess I could wait fer Bull ta sssplain what a trendlow is. But ifn he ainna drunk enuff ya never know what yer gonna git..so I'll handle it. A trendlow is formt whenst the ADX line hits 60 or higher and the -Di is trading above the +Di line. You can look at todaze chart on BONT fer instunce (at BigFooKingCharts) and see a trendlow that was formed on that gross pig today. It's actually still being formt so that means that ifn BONT opens lower the trendlow gits extendo'd downward..."probably" trapping BONT belowst the high end o'the trendlow (12.90ish). BTW, you "might" want to track BONT to see how a trendlow being formed this close to a high playz out. One would ass-oom it means a run to n thru $16 dollahs possibly. I have diffrunt plans for it so sscheck it once in awhilst so you can see how trendlows at extreme highs doan always necessarily mean MUCH higher highs...and trendlows at extreme lows (Like with UUP) doan always mean MUCH lower lows. *-) You "should" git 21.50 on FAZoo before the final wave o'selling BTW. :-) 3J

Anything above 60 counts towards the trendhigh/low. Once ADX breaks back belowst 60 OR (with a trendlow) ...ifn a rally ensues to the point wherst the +Di line overtakes the -Di line then the trendlow is complete....(opposite for a trendhigh) *-) Example? Look at the UUP chart and you can see a trendlow at 22.02 that was completed the very next day on the open with a trendhigh. Just figgerd I'd show you both at the same time :-) Now...you tell me whether the trendlow on UUP gets confirmed with a lower low foist...or the trendhigh gets confirmed with a higher high foist. "If" you are correct then Bull will give you a BIG wet sssshmacker! :o 3J

The 30% rule aplies both to upside and downside targets from trendlows/highs...but it sin't always written in stone....ssspecially at extreme tops and bottoms. Eventually you will get a feel for thangs as you gain more experience. Thaaas why I pointed out BONT n UUP. One is an example of a sub $1 dollah stock trading at 'ready to collapse" highs and of course the U.S. dollah is going to be a sfe haven whenst (not if) the markets collapse. And we shall soon see whether the markets are gonna collapse or stage a new upward leg o'buying. BTW, ifn DPTR was to gapdown on the open from the current chart pattern the -Di would definutly leave a mark so I will be pulling my buy limit for now. *-) 3J
