Book Values (BV), and Tangible Book Value per Share (TBVpS), are just a quick way to check if a stock is worth "investing" in.  Like Cisco (CSCO) that is making its way onto many different lists, if not to the top ... or to the bottom, of those lists.

USEC Inc USU:NYSE.
Noon Yesterday $4.66 + 0.1600 +3.56%

BV per share (MRQ) 11.40 -- --
Tangible BV per share (MRQ) 11.34

Price/BV = 40.88% (59.12% undervalued)

Price/TBVpS = 41.09% (58.91% undervalued)

Notable is that USEC (USU) is expensing the costs of the American Centrifuge Project (ACP) which when done wil have a projected 95% power advantage vs other producers of low enriched uranium (LEU) for power producing reactors. That 95% power advantage will factor into the Separative Work Units (SWUs) that is part of the pricing of the LEU.

By expensing ACP costs now, future measures like ROA, ROE, and ROI, will put USU at the head of the pack during peer, ... industry, and sector analyses

Purt near every single one o'these stocks ya listed range in piggishness from "piggish" to "grossly piggish" ...altho PDLI is still only a single bad news release away from gettin cut in haff...which would at least bring it within range ov my "zone of influence" *-) Here bees one that everybody "knows" and jist about everybody wants to fergit....noooobudy at this venue would be kawazee enuff ta buy it...thaaas fo sho. Not whenst thur is sheeeyit in the same seckter that needs to git cut in haff 4 or 5 times. Why would NE1 consider a play that only needs to drop another 30% or so? The play? This'n right cheeeya >>> EK The numbas? >>> Lowest majer resistance at 3.04-2.97 which dictates my "zone ov influence" to be 2.07-1.78 *-) Of course it's always fun being forced to lower my targuts :-) 3J

Our dear Joe said " near every single one o'these stocks ya listed range in piggishness from "piggish" to "grossly piggish"
Seriously Joseph, what in the world makes CSCO, MSFT, HPQ "piggish'?
They're about as 'un pig' as you can get in my book!
Joe, you continue to make a gross fool of yourself by those statements!

I wouldn consider CSCO a pig...like me sed last week...it is still on my watchlist to git onto me watchlist as a buy. That means it is now trading belowst its last majer support area but not quite by 10% belowst. MSFT is still above its lowest majer support area....and HPQ is gonna git deeeeestroyed. It "obviously" is going to trade back into the teens ifn ya look at what the 10 year chart is saying. But since you have no clue how to read a chart anyhoo...any attempt to do so would be meaningless. *-) I have been "suggesting" that yuns sheeple prepare for the initial wave ov selling in the markets cuz ifn you catch the foist wave ov selling you will be able to take the rest ov the year off becuz the gains made will be >>> overwhelming. *-) Again, my 2 day sale event will be sumphin you will remember waaaaay past Dec. I make my statements and I update them constantly so fokes will "know"...I do not buy massive tops and then head out the back door "after the fact" without giving ANY guidance whatsoever. Do you realize what a gross fool you have made of yerself with jist yer AAPL n NFLX trades? ....anna soon DNDN n WWWW I'm sho *-) 3J

Smiling, JoeJustJoe, I keep telling you (and everyone else) the charts are fine AFTER running the fundamentals FIRST, It also helps to have an education in Chemisrty, Math, Physics, and Technology so as not to be forced to rely on someone else's appraisal of the potential of assets, copyrights, patents, intellectual properties, etc.

I don't mind opposing points of view either, as tjhose points of view will either make me re-think my own opinion, or expose mis-info, hype, or missing important pieces that only reinforce my view.

As to PDLI, (1) lawsuits: resolved, (2) patent challenges: resolved, (3) eyesight is important to everyone, and test trials have shown a PDLI licensed Avastin, though not intended for that, showed Vision improvement after one year was the same for those given monthly shots of Avastin ($50) or Lucentis ($2000), in a 1,200-patient study. So, if you had to project sales on the number of people needing eye treatment, knowing Avastin ($50) or Lucentis ($2000), and knowing insurance companies are always looking for cheaper, why would you bet PDLI license fees and revenues would be going down? ... or that earning would be going down?

Math, chemistry, n physics huh? Hey...cud be werser...ya "coulda" ended up being an economist :o I spekked to one weekend bafo last anna he's "under the ether" too...so doan go sssthinkin yer in this thang by yerself oh no :-) Anna doan git me wrong...I'ze all fer the funnymentals sumtimes meself ifn ya kin baleave that thur. In fackt, jist taday I made mention ov how the Earl/airline relationship had broken apart after years n years. Ever since George W. Bushwhacked announced "mission accomplished" the airlines stocks have only rallied if Earl rallied..leading to the "obvious" fackt that the airlines needed higher fuel costs to rally. Doan take my werd fer it either...simply put up a 1o year chart ov Earl and compare it to a 10 year chart ov say AMR....strikingly "obvious" ...isn't it? *-) Nooow all ova sudden Earl is gettin dumped on anna I bet the airlines is one o'the best performing seckters. That doesn't make sense from a technical POV as I just proved to ye without ANY doubt. Of course the airlines "might be" rallying as Earl drops cuz the mission ole George W. Bushwhacked set out to do (capture n punish the culprits behind 9/11) wuz not "actually" accomplished until 4 daze ago. Soooo, news "might" even be skewin the funnymentals. It's too errrly ta tell :-) 3J

3 mo thangs we learnt from the charts taday >>> 1) The markets doan like the fackt that the CEO who was running BSX into the ground anna causing it to unnerperform by such a wide margin is leaving. The chart is saying they "shoulda" jist kept him on cuz "dismal" is "obviously" better than destructo. Butt! ...based on my indimacaters, which gots nuphin ta do with funnymentals, BSX is now rapidly approaching a GOOG long term buy point. *-) 2) Lawsuits, patent challenges, n GOOG eyesight for everyone "obviously" isn't enuff to keep PDLI from dumpin...Butt!...as a GOOG "funnymentalist" I''m sho you will come up with sum udder excuse anna ov course I'm "OK" with that thur. I jist want you funnymental traders to be happy cuz I like happy, smoking, burnt to a crisp funnymental inbesters whenst I pick em up outta the fiery trash heap *-) 3) Sumtimes even I...as GRRREAT as I am...hasta make adjusto's as to how low they's gotsta go befo I kin rexscue em. That bees the case mit yer ENER thingy. Based on todaze festivities I am froced to lower my long term "zone of influence" by a fool 40% belowst tadae 1.48 low! :o ...anna thaas ass-ooming it doan trade no lower on the open tamarrah! Gulp! :o 3J
