Monday through today the bears are ahead; yet, thanks to the bullish battle-backs, the U.S.indices are STILL showing intact trends, and charts indicate a technically significant breakout that reduced risks of a crash ... but not that of consolidation pullbacks, and the indications are that is what is occurring now.

U.S. markets escape crash territory

Today the markets are concerned with the EU debt troubles and QE2. The EU trials and tribulations are "fixable" and the markets KNOW that; so, it's a convienient and handy excuse, instead of "profit taking." I have suggestions to FIX QE2 below, though I am sure there could be many more possible solutions to insure QE2 CREATES jobs, benefits local comunities, the overall USA economy and not JUST the financials and the markets.

As I previously posted:" Foreign countries, China and Germany, denounced proposals by the Federal Reserve to flood the US economy with cheap money. But the pace the FED has, both in progress and proposed, on buying bonds from banks, works out to $100 to 110 billion per month, The question no one is asking is: " Will the bank loan the monies into the economy ... or buy new bond issues?"

See:Monday, 11/8/2010 OurCall for the Close
- http://www.peopleandpicks.com/blog/Vet67to82/3441004/Monday-1182010--OurCall-for-the-Close/

Here, I believe the US Congress and Pres. Obama should "conference " with the FED, to look at communities where un-employment is the highest, and/or where local economies are the worst off and cross reference that with needed infrastructure, be it power generation, or bridge repair, maintenance and construction. Then get the FED to buy back bonds from banks in those areas, under written agreement to loan the monies into USA businesses looking to undertake the work and hire USA citizens.

Working people pay taxes, and will be able to house and feed themselves and their families, as well as pay their bills.

Jobs, jobs, jobs ...
