I made multiple trades using March 85 HUM calls - the trades were in the range of $3.00 to $3.60


Bought when ever the calls hit 3.00/3.20 sold when ever they moved 3.4/3.60'


In last hour bough 3.00 - sold 3.30


I will be trading same calls on Tuesday

Today's movement came from lower than avg. volume (NYSE 687 mln, vs. 835 mln avg; Nasdaq 1640 mln, vs. 1646 mln avg

how do we spot a correction coming? bears have given up.

There is no magical formula - Just need to look at each group and scan enough charts to get a feel of market
Or one can check Morning star groups or major indexes like 10 top indexes on daily basis. The market can still fool you.
There is always a group rotation - like Biotechs started moving before rest of market
Today dry tankers moved on volume. They are beaten down - Will require a follow up day for the sector for any meaning ful rallly

Stock are like humans - when no one wants them - then they sit by way side - when few folks start showing interest - rest of the gang wake up and wants to part of the circle.
Analysts normally do not up grade before the fact - they come out of wood works when the stocks beat the earning numbers and no one want to be left behind

i keep forgetting down days and market corrections are illegal.

Some times when you do not want to trade or touch your core position - one can sell a call one or two steps higher and let the trade shake out
I am doing the same - Have HUM 85 calls and sold 87.5 calls and HUM 90 calls
and let the trade shake out - I have 90 cents invested in March 85 / 87.5 calls at this time and 1.70 invested in March 85 / 90 call spread
