Th big caps who provided leadershipin 2011 did not show any oomph in new year


The beaten down stocks like MSFT, BAC, JPM, BAC, CSCO did provide decent gains


Only other stock = DIS, GE, CAT gained.

European banks stocks got killed in last 4 days with DB being the loss leader with 10% loss


I did buy a 35 / 40 Feb call spread for DB for net debit of $2 with 40 days grace period to be right or wrong. I planto hold for 15 days and see what happens

MSFT had a banner day with 1.8X volume and over bought for short term basis. Volume was 99 million plsu with average volume around 50 million. There is overhead resistance around 28.30 mark - to be seen if it if it takes it out

reversing from recent high of $26 - best way is to capture profits is by using put options for short term trades
