I normally do it as two trades as my trading costs are $1 per 100 share lot and $1 per option contract - no additional charge.
This could have been done as buy write trade also.
I wanted to buy JCP any way due to some market expectations have gone up after JCP hired new EXEC from Apple. Now pull back of 4.5 offers decent risk / reward.
