Jan 06, 2011 Oppenheimer's top telecom picks for 2011 -- CMCSA, CCI, PCS, CTEL (22.74 ) : Oppenheimer's four top picks for 2011 are Comcast (CMCSA), Crown Castle (CCI), MetroPCS (PCS) and City Telecom (CTEL). The consistent theme is they are all well positioned to provide premium broadband services (wireline or wireless) and have strong relative growth to EBITDA multiples. Opco believes the primary volume drivers are smartphones/tablets, which in turn will drive the shift to cloud computing and horizontal segmentation, and all of the above companies benefit from those. This shift combined with video over IP should enable overall IP volume growth of 40%-plus and wireless volumes more than doubling in 2011.
