Metals and Mining risk-reward much more attractive- Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank says the Metals and Mining sector has performed poorly since early April. They became more cautious on the short-term sector outlook in mid-April but the scale of share price weakness and the recent developments (EU growth concerns, USD, a China slowdown, lower scrap prices, etc.) have surprised. They now see a much more attractive risk-reward for investing in the sector and expect investors to revisit again the early cycle benefits of owning steel stocks. The firm lowers their tgt on select stocks: AK Steel (AKS) cut to $17 from $22, Nucor (NUE) cut to $50 from $53, US Steel (X) cut to $65 from $85, Arcelor-Mittal (MT) cut to $44 from $63, and Gerdau Ameristeel (GNA) tgt unch at $8.

Other plays are SCCO, ACH, KALU, FCX, XME (etf), GNK
