Delta air line cancelled flight from Detroit to Columbia, SC 15 minutes before departure without any explanation – potential crew was missing. They booked on alternate flight after 10 hours wait with out giving any expenses for transportation or alternate credit.
Air line charges $75 when you want a change plus difference. Now air line saved fuel and just fitted passenger to alternate flights – Air line refused to provide any credit for your inconvenience and expenses for alternate transportation. Jackie, Delta air Manager offered to throw the ticket in garbage can if I do not accept the alternate ticket. Meaning Air lines have no responsibility for their failures – This was not act of GOD situation.

Customer service Manager said Airline has no other responsibility except get you an alternate ticket. Airline saved fuel expenses and crew cost to say the least and they said they are not responsible. They just fitted passengers in alternate empty slot - some hopping three different connection - Detroit to Chicago to Atlanta and then to Columbia. it was a direct flight of 1 hour 50 minutes. Then they charge customer for snacks on 3 flight - meaning air line has a way to charge you every way.

Why do they charge extra when a customer asks for change?
NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY GOVERNMENT AND OTHERS HAVE TO STEP IN TO BALANCE THE HIGH HANDED WAY OF HANDLING customer PROBLEMS.
Cutomer does not count - period with Delta Air Line or should I say ex - North west or North Worst airline
