We're excited to announce a new perk for our very best contributors here at People And Picks. Already the invites have gone out for the top 20 members to be P&P VIPs.

Soon you'll see a VIP designation follow the usernames of our very best members. These elite stock pickers will receive free products from Zacks.com, like membership to Zacks Elite - our suite of premium resources for investors- and Research Wizard - a desktop screening and backtesting tool powered by the Zacks database.

If you'd like to nominate yourself for VIP status, here are the guidelines:

  • Maintain at least 10 active stock picks on P&P.
  • Add at least 1 new pick per week on average.
  • Maintain a P&P score in the top 10 percentile (90 or better).
  • Write a brief Analysis for each new stock pick.
  • Write a blog post at least twice a month.
  • Maintain the miniumum number of picks and posts for at least three months

I think you meet the guidelines for VIP, you need to nominate yourself for VIP status! Send an email to vip@peopleandpicks.com. Include your username, your real name, address and phone number.

So you get VIP status for being in the top 10%, but you only receive the free products if you are in the top 20? What happens if you fall out of the top 20? Do your subscriptions get dropped also?

Please give us some more information on how the giveaways work.

From my spread sheets ... based on fundamentals first and calculating the difference between the 1 year estimated target vs the Oct 29, 2010 closing price I have added one post with 15 stocks that have a reward potential >10% and a second post with 14 stocks that have great fundamentals, BUT have already exceeded their 1 year target ...
