At that time, KTII was about $78.50, having seen lows around $55. As of April 1st, 2010, Hillenbrand (yes, the coffin maker) completed their acquisition of KTII for $150 cash per share. KTII was probably worth quite a bit more, but since they never tooted their own horn (never gave guidance, never had conference calls, etc.) and were pretty small and had a small float, they had no analyst following on Wall Street and so I think that kept the stock price unnaturally low---a perfect stock for value investors.
