The latest good news, better than expected housing starts, propelled the market to new 6-months highs.

More good market news after-hours as Texas Instruments TXN reported better than expected earnings. Let's see how that plays out on Tuesday.

The Nasdaq composite and tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 continued to soar on Monday.

Let us not forgot the small caps. The Russell 2000 continues to ascend as a market party member.

Could we see a break in the stubborn finance/banking sector laggard. Citigroup (C) popped up 2% and is now ready to test it's 6-month resistence point of 4.20. Is it knocking at the market 'party' door awaiting entrance?

In the meantime, the doom and gloom folks, who has missed the move, are trying to find reasons (and chatter) to make themselves feel better by looking for doubt in the market.

The market party received some 'sparkle' on Monday as Mountain Diamonds (MDM), Rare Elements (FEE), and Freeman Copper (FCX) made good moves.

Oh when or when will the 'party' take a healthy pause?

The market is just taking a 'break in the action', a time-out if you may. Good time to do some long buying for those like JJJ that has missed the action.
