IPO Linkedln (LNDK) got it started.
Already volatile and already considered way over valued...just like Google (GOOG) and Baidu (BIDU) were at their IPO. As Jim Cramer yelled on his show until he was blue in the face about how over valued and over-capitalized BIDU was, it become my best overall investment when I purchased the stock at IPO day.
But LNDK is just the new start of this new phase.
Coming this week are some more high flying considerations...
Freescale Semiconductor (FSL), global leader in embedded processing semiconductors and solutions. This IPO is highly anticipated.
Sabre Industries (SABR), which provides towers and other engineered products for the wireless infrastructure markets. This one is expected to be huge.
Active Network (ACTV). which provides an online registration platform for sporting events and outdoor activities.
Other than these big three, others coming soon are:
Yandex N.V. (YNDX), which is Russia's leading online search engine, plans to raise over 1 billion. Created over 20 years ago by two Russian entrepreneurs, Yandex now operates Russia's leading online search engine with a dominant 65% share of the country's search traffic. Often called the "Google of Russia".
Solazyme (SZYM), which transforms plant-based sugars into petroleum-based chemicals and fuels.
Nobao Renewable Energy (NRE), which provides ground source heat pumps used to heat and cool commercial buildings
Spirit Airlines (SAVE), an ultra low-cost, low-fare airline with service to Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America
Of course, this just gets us ready for the BIG TWO down the line..
