Can someone state that timing on picks again? When I would pick after hours sometime my picks would not show up until 2 days later. So then, I made my picks at the end of the day thinking I would get the open price of the following day and the price I received was the close.

How does this system work exactly?

Burt, as long as you have your pick in place before 4:30 EST you get that day's closing price.....which makes it veeeery eeeeasy to scour the news for stocks getting hit or ramping on AH newz. OJJJ n Eyephone have both used that strategery to their benefit in fact. I would suggest NE1 who is trying to catch me use it in fact since it twill be your ONLY chance! :-) 3J

As far as I know, only the closing share price is employed for a pick made in the P&P system. Therefore, I would not anticipate getting filled at the opening SP under any circumstances.

Nope...Boo likes Fode better but I kept throwin numbers at him and he kept barkin like a beagle until I said 1.25....and Boo ain't a beagle....he's a golden retriever! :o Soooo, I guess I'll just ssshtick with Boo's advice and wait fer F to hit a buck anna qwatah. *-) GM gonna stage anudder pullback but I have my limit buy in at 2.95. BTW, CROX reports terrible errrrnuns tonight and they turned down my latest offer on the cherry reds. I sure hope you ainna holding thatn. I just got off the phone with my buddy who has been long since 10.45 ....and averaging down! :o Sure....I'll still save him....but jeeesh! ....you think you owe me, Burt? Well....you ain't seen nuthin! *-) 3J

Do you think UUP hitting $27 is enough for a double top or does it have to edge closer to $27.19 set 10/27?

I'm getting ready to add to my HL position with an open buy at .95 centavos. All I know to do with confidunce is add to my positions in the goldies for doubles to 10 baggers going forward. I never watched the 27.19 high get set there, Burt. I only know that UUP has a date with being a teen angel. We are already working on a confirmed top and a rally after a sell signal....both BIG neggies. *-) 3J

I already told ya Burt. As soon as I take the year end bonuses away from the idiots at GS I'm going after Uncle Fester's $500 million he got by deception n "crookery" :-) And Uncle Fester is just one criminal at 1 Wall St firm. Sheeeeyot...by the time I'm finished I will get back the ENTIRE $700bil Fester n Ben wanna give away...and then some! :o 3J


As a sidenote: I wonder how CJC is feeling about them there airlines he loved so dearly just a scant 2 daze ago. LOL

Otay...chances are better than GOOG (the "ultimate" fanatasy stock) that the 13.65 low for LDK is gonna hold. I had an open limit at 13.50....but I'm gonna bump it up to 13.70 and then fill in later should it continue lower after the actual buy signal materializes. My target for the coming rally will be $24...but I wouldn't be sooprised to see this end up being a long term duble da bottom which means I at least duble da money! *-) 3J

I'm still waiting for .95 on HL burt. BTW, GM has signaled buy and is staging that final selloff. Now at 3.01. Should I rexscue ETFC? :o 3J

I don't care much for E-Trade. Their talking Babies make investing look easy, which it's not. Wait a second, maybe that's why we are in this mess. Babies are running the stock markets!

Just to confirm the answer to the question in the original post. Any buy order entered before market close will be given that day's closing price.
Orders entered after hours (or on a weekend or holiday) will get the next day's closing price.
