This is beyond comprehension. I'm about to give up. Point system makes no sense. Dropped to a negative figure pre-market, now I have 65. This is dumb, stupid, and it's a waste of time.

The people in charge of the site are definitely not doing a good job. Last month I lost a bunch of points but I think it was because I sold a 2 year old pick. I was receiving full point value of the gain (about 185 points for aapl) but once I sold it I only received a fraction of the points because the older the pick is the less its worth once sold. So if you have a bunch of old picks that are losers, sell them and never sell the winning old picks.

Most of the people on top are riding the wave of unsold older picks. If they are gonna take points from old picks they should do it consistently for sold and unsold picks.

Even with these problems, and believe me there are even more than this, I still enjoy trying to raise my score and getting ideas from other active players. After all, the point of this is to make money in real life not just in a game.
